A Walk Through History
The Liberty Bell Center stands proudly in Philadelphia as an iconic symbol of American independence. The bell was cast with the lettering from Leveticus 25: 10, “Proclaim LIBERTY throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof”. The center offers a video presentation and exhibits about the Liberty Bell, focusing on the origins and modern day role.
History is not only best to be remembered but it is also a cool thing to do when in Pennsylvania to reflect on the future. Beginning in the late 1800s, the Liberty Bell traveled around the country to help heal the divisions of the Civil War. In 1915, it found its last trip home to Pennsylvania.
